Once I’m approved for an Everyday Account, can I buy anything I like from Home Direct?
The amount you can spend at Home Direct with your Everyday Account will be determined during the application process and is based on your budget and what you can reasonably afford. You’ll be given a limit and from there you can buy items from Home Direct up to that amount.
You can buy any goods from Home Direct using your Everyday Account (provided you have enough credit available).
What’s the difference between the Everyday Account and Payment Plan?
If you have an Everyday Account, you can spend whatever available credit you have anytime you wish on any items in the Home Direct store. The more you pay off, the more you’ll have available to spend again. If you want to make frequent purchases, the Everyday Account is your best option as it enables you to buy when you want (provided you have available credit).
Payment Plan is a fixed amount that you pay off over a set period of time. If you want to purchase again it will either be via a new Payment Plan Account or via an Everyday Account. Only selected Home Direct product categories are available to purchase using Payment Plan.
Do I have to shop at Home Direct using an Everyday Account?
No, Home Direct also offers a Payment Plan, or accepts credit and debit cards and also offers buy-now-pay-later options.
What happens if I am unable to meet my repayments?
Please call us on 0800 427 334, ideally before you miss the payment. You’ll find more information on our financial hardship page.
Do you adhere to the Responsible Lending Code?
Yes. We only want you to be approved for an Everyday Account or Payment Plan if it is the right thing for you and your budget.
