Once I’m approved for an Everyday Account or Payment Plan, can I buy anything I like from Home Direct?
The amount you can spend at Home Direct either with your Everyday Account or Payment Plan will be determined during the application process and is based on your income and expenses and what you can reasonably afford. You’ll be given a limit and from there you can buy items from Home Direct up to that amount.
You can buy any goods from Home Direct using your Everyday Account (provided you have enough credit available). A minimum value of $499 applies to purchases on Payment Plan. The Payment Plan account can only be used to purchase items including smartphones, TV, gaming consoles, furniture, household appliances, small appliances and outdoor equipment.
What’s the difference between the Everyday Account and Payment Plan?
If you have an Everyday Account, you can spend whatever available credit you have anytime you wish on any items in the Home Direct store. The more you pay off, the more you’ll have available to spend again. If you want to make frequent purchases in an ongoing manner, the Everyday Account is likely your best option as it enables you to buy when you want (provided you have available credit).
Payment Plan is a fixed amount that you pay off over a set period of time. If you want to purchase again it will either be via a new Payment Plan Account or via an Everyday Account. Only selected Home Direct product categories are available to purchase using Payment Plan.
Do I have to shop at Home Direct using an Payment Plan?
No, Lifestyle Money also offers a Everyday Account for shopping at Home Direct. Home Direct also accepts credit and debt cards.
